Smoke Control
A delicate and balanced Helles lager with a touch of Beech wood smoked malt.For much of the last century, the Steel City was truly the smoky city, a place darkened by smog, even in midday. In 1941 the city decided to clean things up and passed an effective smoke control ordinance, but the onset of World War II delayed the enactment of the legislation until 1946.
