Nubbel

Clean and crisp with subtle maltiness expected of a German-style Kolsch. Named for the star of the show at the conclusion of German Carnival, Nubbelverbrennung, which translates to burning of the Nubbel. According to popular belief, sins committed during Carnival are eradicated with the Nubbel. After the Nubbelverbrennung, Ash Wednesday begins and the carnival time is over. German version of Fat Tuesday and the beginning of Lent.
